Things I have learned tonight...
1. Most Locksmiths who say they are 24 hours are LYING.
2. Racing against time to find someone to come and open up your car and make a new key for it before it gets towed at 8am will cost you about $120. Combine this with the money you spent on the 2 drinks you had at the Mercury and you might as well have just not gone to work and hid in a closet all night because it just would have been easier.
3. Lying on the hood of your car, which is leaking fluid like nobody's business which was actually overheating when you parked it, staring up at the sky listening to the birds chirping at 5:30 in the morning, waiting for the little Asian man to come and make you a brand spanking new $120 honda key for your overheating coolant leaking full of random crap stinking of burning oil hunk of junk that you're still making payments on because he's practically the only one in the goldang freakin phone book who will do it at this hour is both humbling, and oddly serene at the same time.
4. Making multiple copies of your car key and distributing them to everyone you know would be a really good idea. Although this increases the chances of people fucking with you by parking your car in a different spot then where you left it.
And no, I didn't know I was going to work today until my phone blew up at 3:30 this afternoon. I mean, I did get fired....

In other news, the frame on my glasses wore out and they are now being held together with... Scotch Tape. Now that's sexy. The wad of tape in my peripheral vision is maddening. Does anyone out there have a soldering iron? It might do the trick...
